A. In the Beginning...

2. Presentation

By presentation, I mean how you present yourself going on to the dance floor, as well as going off of the dance floor; and everything in the middle. Look like you're having fun. Scowling never wins you points. SMILE a nice pleasant smile. Hold your head up high. Be proud to be the best dancer you can be. Let everyone know that you're proud of YOUR accomplishments. Remember, just getting on the floor is a major accomplishment. When you walk onto the dance floor, walk with confidence. Your instructor may want you to put your arm out or down at your side. Ask him or her for their preference. When you're through with your dance, walk off the floor in the same manner and confidence that you had when you walked on. This presents a good appearance to the judges and the audience. Believe me, they're still watching you, even if they're done judging the dance.
